The purpose of this team working agreement
is to outline standardized expectations for
This units (Business capstone) crowdfunding
project, and is concerned with the working relations and group structure among
team members.
Team procedures:
Communication
Communication
between team members shall be via e-blog, phone and Whatsapp conversations, and
weekly team meetings. Members will check their e-mail and the blog once daily
and reply when requested or necessary. Date,
time preferred and agreed by all; as per convenience of each member
Saturday and Sunday afternoons have been allocated as a fixed meeting days for
discussions and to combine each members efforts. If a member cannot attend a
team meeting, they must communicate to all members 24 hours prior to the
meeting. Failure to communicate their absence will result in a strike (see
"Consequences" below).
Decision
Making
Each team member’s
ideas and directions will be taken in to consideration and will be brought into
a brainstorming session. The team believes brainstorming is a very effective
method to resolve decision. Final ideas and decisions will be adopted by
majority vote. Failure to communicate, or acting on a decision not sanctioned
by the entire team, will result in one strike. (Please refer to
"Consequences" section.)
Responsibility
Equal distribution of tasks has been
allocated to each member according to their preference, so that maximum
effectiveness could be achieved and equal distribution of marks per member should
be allocated. Team members are expected to complete all tasks assigned to them
by the due date. Failing to do so will result in one strike. (Please refer
"Consequences" section) Further
if a member arises an unclear or difficult responsibility, it must be voiced to
other team members swiftly so that they can be clarified or redefined.
Leadership
A team member will be allocated as the team leader although a democratic
debate system will be used for decision-making. The allocation of work and agendas
will be discussed by the team leader. Each member will be constantly updated
every now and then regarding the progress of the work and each member’s
completed tasks would be sent to the leader before the due date.
Group
Progress
The group will create a timeline that
includes dates for expected completion of work and other group objectives. This
timeline will help the group to determine progress and how rules should be
enforced with regard to participation of team members.
Consequences
Consequences will be based on a strike
program with three strikes resulting in a probationary status and four strikes
resulting in removal from the team.
Strikes may be given for any one of the
following reasons:

Missed meetings without either
communication 24 hours prior or a legitimate conflict.
·
Failure to abide by the rules
presented in this working agreement.
·
Low commitment and substandard
work presented in assigned tasks.
·
Failing to submit work for each
deadline missed would result in 5% reduction
The ideas and requirements set forth in
this working agreement are established so as to provide the best possible
working conditions for completing the assigned project.
